Daffodil (Narcissus pseudonarcissus)
With striking yellow flowers, daffodils are a sign that spring has arrived. Grown from bulbs, and classed as a wild plant, native to the woods, grassland and rocky areas of Western Europe. The wild plant is smaller and paler than the cultivated varieties and despite a population decline, they are still one of the most common wildflowers of the British countryside.
